everyone said that it was wrong a love that violent that burned so strong
then in time high school was over John asked Jeanne to spend eternity with him
it was the spring of 1951 the first kiss, no one could have dreamed the spark of fire would burn through generations the sweet example of love in love

and as time thundered on, 5 babies later their dreams had changed, and as life crushed their hearts, John and Jeanne's love remained

a tragic loss the pain that they went through from deaths breath but they stayed true to their faith a house that they both built inside their hearts, nothing can tear this family apart

and as time thundered on, with tragedy and their babies all married and gone, you think that they would grow apart, but John and Jeanne's jove grew ever strong

we never though we'd see the day when Jeanne's pain was much too much to go on
the Lord carried her away
now John is alone

he never stopped loving her everyday and couldn't wait to see her again
then one night Jesus called him home to see his wife, a beautiful reunion

and as time thunders on, i promise that i'll keep their love alive in my heart to shine for everyone to see, the radiant love of John and Jeanne
